Better for the Planet

Cotton is a natural fibre that is widely recognised for its biodegradability, making it an environmentally friendly choice compared to synthetic fabrics. When disposed of, cotton fibres break down naturally in a relatively short time, typically within a few months to a year, depending on environmental conditions. This decomposition process contributes to soil health by returning essential nutrients back to the earth.

Synthetic materials can take hundreds of years to decompose and may release harmful chemicals in the process.

Cotton Care

Always check the care label for specific washing instructions, but generally, machine wash in cool or warm water with a mild detergent to avoid shrinking and fading. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can reduce the natural breathability of cotton. When washed you can line dry or cool. Regular washing every one to two weeks will keep your bedding fresh and clean, ensuring a comfortable and inviting sleep environment.

When not in use, store in a cool dry place in suitable storage such as our 100% cotton bedding bags.
